Caerthan Arts and Sciences Competition: Competition

This event will determine the Arts and Sciences Champion for the Barony of Caerthe for the next year.

While all participants are encouraged to enter the competition for Grand Champion or enter items for general judging, there is LOTS of space for displays. Bring your finished projects or works in progress to display or enter. This is a terrific opportunity for feedback and discussion with other artisans and arts admirers. Show people what you are working on! If you are planning to enter the competition, please contact the Autocrat with a general idea of what you are entering, how much space you require and what (if any) special arrangements you might need.

Entrants must reside within the boundaries of the Barony of Caerthe, including any of its Cantons and college groups
Entrants must be present at the competition
Participants must enter at least three distinctively different items in the competition (e.g., one item in costuming, one item in cooking, one in woodworking, etc.)
Documentation is required

Judges are definitely needed. If you are interested in judging, please contact the Domin d'Alsace or Mistress Derdriu O'Fionnghail of Clare with the category or categories you would like to judge. Depending on how many entries are received and what type, you may be asked to judge outside of you area of expertise; however, every effort will be made to accommodate your preferences.
